Who the hell cares about his or her despicable mother? She could’ve gone on as it was and taken the gift she’d been given. The psyche is the most fragile bone in your body and aamy mind can do remarkable things to keep that bone from breaking.
And it didn’t make me go any sleep. Better to read the inspirational story of a Dumpster Baby who grew up to be a wonderful and happy person, right?
A depressing subject matter is made poignant and engaging in this book. She can’t admit to herself that she’s pregnant and throws the baby into a trash can. Before That Efw, these were the words most often used to describe straight-A student and star soccer player Devon Davenport: I would have liked a deeper exploration of the supporting characters’ issues and efqw Devon’s relationships with them; throughout the book I was waiting for Devon to face her heartbreak over the baby’s father and she never did, she never even said his name ; and I was not happy with the ending, which I get was supposed to be cliffhanger, but just felt uncomfortable and abrupt.

I like this idea overall, and think it’s ripe for exploration in novel form.
And in the heat of the moment, the Devon Davenport is in denial. The author missed a big potential opportunity in devoting more time and thought to Devon’s sessions with the psychiatrist.
Anyone Who Can Stand It. It read like an episode of Law and Order: I wasn’t expecting it at all and Afrer wish it didn’t end where it did. I would aftrr never taken the time to get to know Devon after doing what she did.

I plan on re-reading this book at some point because I think it is deserving of being thoroughly considered and something more than a random, emotional midnight-read. Oh iya halaman sampai bikin aku menangis. She was however a victim of neglect but purposely excluded herself from society when she started feeling”something”.
There is no real depth. It’s about this girl, Devon, who dumps her baby in the trash. Efaw takes the reader on Devon’s unforgettable journey toward clarity, acceptance, and redemption. D Memaafkan orang lain itu perlu. She has very good grades in school and she behaves. Every single one of those pages reads like a Law and Order script.
Gratuitous use of gore. She vowed she wouldn’t be like her mother-no sex, no relationships until way later in life. Devon has just given birth; the baby in the trash is hers.
The mom is so ridiculous. Too much time was spent in Devon’s head, getting her to remember and not enough time establishing her as a person who would wfaw what she did at the close. Good people can do bad things
